Planning Tool Kit
The planning tool kit is designed to help municipal leaders and planning commissioners implement the policies of Landscapes2. Successful implementation of the plan, requires partnering with local municipalities in order to bring growth and preservation together.
The tool kit provides a series of actions available to municipalities and interested citizens that conserve energy, promote our economy, respect the environment, and achieve sustainable practices. Tools will explore their value, their appropriateness based on the type of landscape your municipality is located, and provide a road map for how each can be implemented. To allow further exploration, case studies, examples and links are included. Tools will be released roughly every two weeks throughout the spring.

Brochure and Interactive Map
Brochures and an interactive map promote more efficient development and spotlight examples of successful sustainable activities.
An on-line resource has been developed to help newly appointed municipal planning commissioners become acclimated to their volunteer position in your municipality. Planning commissioners have an opportunity to make a difference in shaping the future of your municipality provided they are fully informed of their responsibilities and the resources available to them.
